One of the most popular schools in Surrey with good transport links from the surrounding areas (Kingston, Surbiton, Sutton, Cheam, Merton and Wimbledon as well as Epsom) this institution boasts superb facilities, excellent examination results, and well-behaved pupils. The sixth form block provides teaching accommodation, together with a multi-media lecture theatre, state-of-the-art resource centre, IT facilities, library and student common room. Add to this other modern facilities, such as the Performing Arts Suite, the Sports Hall, Design and Technology and Science building and over 250 networked computers, and you can see why the school is so popular.

As a centre of sporting excellence it is second to none. Recently pupils have represented England at football, rugby, athletics and golf. The Under 16 football team won the Surrey Cup last season and will this season represent Surrey in the National Competition. In the summer of 2006, 102 boys of all ages represented Glyn on a rugby tour of Australia. Both the impressive sports hall and well-maintained playing fields at Priest Hill support all our pupils and encourage excellence.

Examination results are outstanding. At Key Stage 3 in 2006 Glyn topped the Surrey league table for Mathematics and Science, and at GCSE a 80% A* to C is now the norm. AS and A2 results follow our successful trend and produce A to E passes of 100%. In all, boys who come to Glyn do well, including many who go on to universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.
