Racers struggle to keep it in the pan at last years race
Celebrate Shrove Tuesday in Staines by taking part in the town’s annual charity pancake day.
Runners, who are encouraged to take part in fancy dress, will hit the high street on Tuesday at 1.30pm to raise money for the Staines Shopmobility Charity.
Staines Town Centre Manager Stuart Douthwaite said: “Well in Staines we take our pancake tossing very seriously and this is the 3rd year of their annual charity pancake race. Runners will be encouraged to wear fancy dress and compete over a number of races to see who Staines’ best tosser is.
